By browsing, accessing, or using our Site, you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms of Use for our website. Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning set forth in our Terms of Use.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time with or without notice to you.
Age requirements
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 through the Site. If you are under 13, please do not use the Site or provide us with any personal information. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children never to provide personal information through the Site without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us, and we will delete that information from our databases.
If we collect personal information from children under the age of 13 who want to attend our summer camps, we request this information from their parent or guardians.

Contact and background information
Via our website, we may collect information about children who want to attend our camps, their parents/guardians, alumni, and donors. Whether you provide us with this information depends on you, but we may ask you to about the following:
- Children: First and last name, mailing address, date of birth, school grade, race/ethnicity, religion, alumni relationships
- Parents/guardians: First and last name, name of child, phone number, mailing address, email address, alumni relationships
- Alumni: First and last name, date of camp attendance, alumni relationships
- Donors: First and last name, age, mailing address, phone number, email address, occupation, major life events, alumni relationships
- Parents/guardians may also share health information about their children, or other relevant background information, with us. We collect health information via our third-party vendor Campminder.
When you visit a camp, we will ask you to provide the following information to us when you sign in: First and last name, mailing address, phone number, email address
Video and photographs
When you attend or visit our camp, we may take photograph and videos of you. I grant permission to Camp Kabeyun to use for any lawful purpose my child’s likeness, image, voice, written materials, spoken words, artworks, and/or appearance as such may be embodied in any pictures, drawings, renderings, photographs, video recordings, audiotapes, digital images, or the like (“materials”). I hereby authorize Camp Kabeyun to copy, edit, publish, display, distribute, and/or disseminate the materials. I agree that Camp Kabeyun has complete ownership of and may use the materials in any manner for any purpose in any medium, including, but not limited to, social media sites. I also agree that Camp Kabeyun has permission to release such materials to the news media. I acknowledge that I will not receive any compensation or remuneration for the use of such materials.

In addition to the above-mentioned kinds of information, we may automatically collect additional information via the Site. Such information may include:
From your activity
Information that we automatically collect when you use the Site, including, without limitation:
- IP addresses, browser type and language, referring and exit pages and URLs, date and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, what sections of the Site you visit, etc.;
- Information about a mobile device, including universally unique ID (“UUID”), App type and version (e.g., iOS or Android), carrier and country location, hardware and processor information (storage, chip speed, camera resolution, NFC enabled, and network type (WiFi, 2G, 3G, 4G);
- Activity and usage information occurring via the Site, including tagging data, favorites, preferences, session lengths, traffic data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on or through the Site, and similar data;
From cookies
We collect information using “cookie” technology. Cookies are small packets of data that are stored on your mobile device’s hard drive so that it will “remember” information about your visit. We use such cookies to help us collect information and to enhance your experience using the Site. How we use and share information
We use the various kinds of information mentioned above (collectively, the “Information”) to: (i) communicate with you to provide you with relevant information about Kabeyun, including our newsletters and annual reports; (ii) respond to inquiries related to our services and the Site; (iii) identify, investigate, respond to, and prevent fraudulent or illegal activity (such as incidents of hacking or misuse of our Site) and other liabilities; (iv) enhance or repair the functionality of the Site or improve our services; and (vi) to inform you about our products and services, or to request donations.
You also authorize us to use and/or share your Information as described below.
- Agents, Affiliates, Providers and Other Third Parties. We may engage other companies and individuals to perform certain business-related functions on our behalf. Examples include providing technical assistance, order fulfillment, customer service, and marketing assistance. These other companies will have access to the Information only as necessary to perform their functions and to the extent permitted by law. We may also share your Information with any of our parent companies, subsidiaries, or other companies under common control with us.

We take commercially reasonable steps to protect your Information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases or the databases of the third parties with which we may share such information, nor can we guarantee that the information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted over the internet. The Site may contain links to other third- party websites, products or services not owned or controlled by Kabeyun (“External Sites”). Kabeyun has no control over the privacy practices or the content of these External Sites. As such, we are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of those External Sites, and you should check the applicable third-party privacy policy and terms of use when visiting any External Sites.
Electronic communications and opting out
When you communicate with us electronically, via e-mail or otherwise, you consent to our use of the Information you have provided, and you further consent to receive electronic communications from us. If you would prefer not to receive such communications, you can unsubscribe to our e-mail lists by clicking on the “unsubscribe” line at the bottom of the e-mail you receive from us. You should be aware, however, that (i) it is not always possible to completely remove or modify personal information, or other information in our databases and servers, although we will always make reasonable efforts to do so upon your request, and (ii) we are unable to have your personal information, or other information removed from the records of any third party who has been provided with your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Do not track signals
Some web browsers may give you the ability to enable a “do not track” setting that is an HTTP header field indicating your preferences regarding user tracking or cross-site tracking. We do not currently recognize web browser “do not track” signals, and we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a do not track signal from your browser. Instead, information collection and disclosure practices and the choices that we provide to users will continue to operate as described in this Privacy Policy, whether a “do not track” signal is received. The Site and their servers are operated in the United States.
